A Rock On Which to Stand

Verses for all circumstances

This week, I have been musing on how to perceive the voice of God and discern what is of Him and what is not. Our greatest tool for clearly hearing Him comes from the word. The living word is so much more than printed words. They are a testament to who God is and who He wants us to be. It is our sword—our protection against the enemy. When we lack foundation to lean on. When our emotions take hold, the enemy is at our ear, and our hearts deceive us, it is the rock on which we may stand. The word is so powerful. That is why I have decided to make this an ongoing post. It will be saved as a featured post for quick reference, and suggestions are always welcome. If you have a verse or a particular circumstance you feel should be added or addressed, do not hesitate to email me. These are verses I have personally found to be life giving and helpful in the trials I face. I hope they prove helpful. Pray them over yourself. Speak them out loud. Memorize them. Let them replace the brokenness and the lies. Let them be your counter attack to the enemy. Let them be the truth on which you can stand when the answers seem few and far between. Do not discredit the power of God’s living word. It is life altering and should never be discounted.
